To market products in Korea, KC certification is required. Therefore, the Conformity Assessment System for Broadcasting and Communication Equipment was introduced in Korea under Article 58-2 of the Radio Waves Act. It is divided into Conformity Certificate, Compatibility Registration, and Preliminary Conformity Certificate. A party intending to manufacture, sell, or import broadcasting and communication equipment must possess one of these three certifications.
