CONSULECTRA: strategic realignment with IT security and e-mobility

As part of its strategic realignment, CONSULECTRA now offers IT security and e-mobility services. A flagship project in the area of e-mobility is supporting the Cologne public transport authority in the introduction of electric buses. In 2018, CONSULECTRA was entrusted with the planning and conception for over 100 charging points at Cologne's bus depots. As a reliable partner, CONSULECTRA is accompanying the project from the initial needs analyses and coordination with the local grid operator, through the processing of legally compliant tenders and awards, to construction supervision and commissioning.

With its SECURITY business unit, CONSULECTRA offers its clients a holistic approach to information security. For example, live hacking events by experts ensure sustainable awareness among client company employees, while penetration tests reveal vulnerabilities in control and SCADA systems, industrial control systems, and IT infrastructure. Specialists with many years of industry experience as consultants and auditors expertly guide clients through security projects, including the implementation and operation of a certified information security management system (ISMS) according to current standards DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001, DIN EN ISO/IEC 27019, and regulatory requirements IT Security Catalog (in accordance with Section 11 (1a) and (1b) of the Energy Industry Act) and BSI Section 8a. „With these strategic measures, CONSULECTRA is entering the transformation of the energy industry, with its challenges of CO2 minimization and digitalization, exceptionally well-prepared,“ states Torsten Brinker, Managing Director of CONSULECTRA.
