enometrik opens a new chapter

(August 20, 2026) Enoplan subsidiary enometrik reports an important milestone: The first intelligent measuring system (iMSys) is up and running. The successful installation and commissioning marks the beginning of a new chapter in enometrik's corporate development.

Intelligent metering systems are a key component of Germany’s energy transition. The legislator has mandated their introduction to drive the digitalisation of the energy sector and enable electricity consumption and feed-in to be measured securely, transparently and almost in real time. They provide the foundation for smart grids, greater energy efficiency and a sustainable energy supply.

For enometrik, however, this first iMSys installation means much more than the fulfillment of regulatory requirements. It stands for innovative strength, a forward-looking approach, and the consistent expansion of its service portfolio. By entering the field of intelligent metering systems, the foundation is laid to offer enometrik customers modern digital metering services from a single source in the future.

Johannes Fast, Managing Director of enometrik, comments on the milestone: “What starts today with a single meter marks the beginning of a development that is highly significant for our company. We are expanding our expertise, entering a new business area and, at the same time, making an active contribution to the digitalisation of energy supply in Germany. My heartfelt thanks go to all our colleagues whose commitment, expertise and enthusiasm have made this milestone possible.”
