Holger Mennigmann becomes Managing Director at IB Nordhorn

As part of an orderly succession plan, Holger Mennigmann will join the management of IB Nordhorn GmbH & Co. KG Münster on April 1, 2026.

Klaus Nordhorn, who built up IB Nordhorn from its founding in 1995 and developed it into one of Germany's leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering firms, will lead the company together with Holger Mennigmann until his retirement in 2027. The dual leadership ensures continuity in day-to-day operations and creates optimal conditions for a seamless transition of responsibility.

With his comprehensive technical expertise in energy, refrigeration, ventilation, and heating, as well as his proven experience in building and scaling planning and service businesses, Holger Mennigmann brings ideal qualifications for the further development of IB Nordhorn. Furthermore, his broad network in the energy and real estate industries opens up new strategic growth opportunities for the company.

Together with the branch managers of Berlin, Hamburg, and the headquarters in Münster, Holger Mennigmann will drive forward the successful growth trajectory of IB Nordhorn within the RWTÜV Group, of which IB Nordhorn has been a part since 2015. The goal is to expand the market position as a quality-oriented MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) planning office and to strategically utilize the synergy potential within the corporate group.

„We are delighted to have gained Holger Mennigmann as an experienced and competent managing director for IB Nordhorn, in order to best position ourselves for the growth opportunities in the field of MEP planning in the coming years,“ assesses Dr. Fabian Fechner, Managing Director of RWTÜV GmbH, the appointment.
