RWTÜV GmbH signs the Diversity Charter

RWTÜV stands for an appreciative and prejudice-free work environment and promotes talent based on performance. We want age, gender, gender identity, ethnic origin and nationality, religion and worldview, sexual orientation and identity, or physical abilities to have no influence on the evaluation and appreciation of our employees. We have therefore signed the Charter of Diversity, and we have now been admitted to its circle of signatories. „Especially with regard to the Charter's founding day, which is celebrated again today on May 18, we are particularly pleased about this,“ says Thomas Biedermann, Chairman of the Management Board of RWTÜV GmbH.

We hereby voluntarily commit:

  • cultivating an organizational culture characterized by mutual respect and appreciation. We create the conditions for leaders and employees alike to recognize, share, and live these values. We support supervisors in the special commitment that comes with this.
  • to review our personnel processes and ensure that they do justice to the diverse skills and talents of all employees, without neglecting our performance standards.
  • recognizing the diversity of society both inside and outside the organization. We value it as potential and as opportunities for the company.
  • to implement the charter on the topic of internal and external dialogue.
  • to inform our employees about diversity and involve them in the implementation of the Charter.

We are convinced that lived diversity and its appreciation have a positive impact on society in Germany. The Charter of Diversity is an initiative by employers to promote diversity in companies and institutions; Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel is its patron. With this initiative, we also want to promote the recognition, appreciation, and inclusion of diversity in organizational culture in Germany. More than 3,000 companies and institutions have already signed the Charter of Diversity.
