TÜV NORD AG: change at the top of the Supervisory Board

Hannover/Essen: Thomas Biedermann (55) will become the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TÜV NORD AG on July 1, 2021. The previous chairman, Prof. Karl Friedrich Jakob (69), is relinquishing this position at his own request but will remain a member of the board.

Thomas Biedermann has been a member of the Supervisory Board of TÜV NORD AG since June 2020. The business graduate from Cologne is Chairman of the Executive Board of RWTÜV e.V. and the RWTÜV Foundation, as well as Chairman of the Management Board of RWTÜV GmbH. Previously, he held various management positions at international inspection service providers.

I would like to actively support this course in my new role,“ says Thomas Biedermann. „I am pleased that Prof. Karl Friedrich Jakob, with his extensive TÜV experience and high technical expertise, will continue to be a member of the Supervisory Board.“
