The summer heat and vacation season have certainly not slowed down the RWTÜV Group. July has brought a wealth of positive developments, with cetecom advanced and CONSULECTRA in particular celebrating noteworthy achievements that we are pleased to share with you in this edition of our newsletter.
Furthermore, the premises of our corporate headquarters in Essen once again provided the setting for an exciting information event hosted by our colleagues from our subsidiary Enoplan. For over thirty customers and interested parties, there was concentrated energy expertise.
All participants had a lot of fun and exchange at the summer parties and are now looking forward to the summer vacation season. Sustainable strength grows not only from speed and endurance, but also from conscious breaks. It is often in moments of rest that creative potential emerges and new ideas grow, in line with our innovation management.

Energy Industry Forum
On July 8, RWTÜV subsidiary Enoplan hosted an Energy Industry Forum at the Group's headquarters in Essen. The agenda covered all of today's key energy topics — from industrial electricity pricing to carbon leakage — with concise, practical presentations delivered by Enoplan's experienced experts. The goal was to provide customers and prospective clients with a comprehensive overview of the most relevant developments in the energy sector — all in a single day.
The event began with a series of expert presentations introducing the core topics. However, the primary focus was on direct dialogue, giving participants the opportunity to discuss their specific questions and challenges in depth with Enoplan's specialists. According to Enoplan, this is where many companies face their greatest challenge: as regulatory requirements become increasingly complex and evolve rapidly, organizations often lack the time and resources to stay fully informed. By bringing together the latest insights in a single event, Enoplan helps companies identify critical areas for action while saving valuable time and providing greater confidence in their decision-making.
The event received an overwhelmingly positive response, generating fresh ideas, valuable discussions, and new momentum for both participants and Enoplan's consulting team.
Month of Success
July marked several significant milestones for RWTÜV subsidiary cetecom advanced.
One of the month's highlights was the company's recognition by Visa, the global leader in digital payments technology, with the Award of Excellence 2026 – Best Performance for Testing Services of Card/Mobile Products. The award honors the outstanding quality standards of cetecom advanced's SmartCard & Identification team as well as its long-standing, trusted partnership with Visa in an industry where security, reliability, and speed to market are critical. Andreas Ehre, Managing Director of cetecom advanced, commented: "We are honored to receive this award. More importantly, it motivates us to continue advancing our testing and certification services for innovative payment solutions around the world."
The company's expertise in secure payment technologies was also recognized in Asia, where CETECOM Limited Korea received Visa accreditation to perform Visa (VSDC) chip card testing. This new accreditation enables the Korean team to expand its SmartCard testing services and further strengthen the company's position in the regional market. Stefan Kischka, who joined the Management Board on June 1, 2026, with responsibility for international growth and business development, celebrated this achievement as an early success: "With our comprehensive SmartCard testing portfolio, we are committed to providing customers and partners with reliable, high-quality testing services while supporting innovation across the payments industry. Congratulations to our colleagues in Korea on earning this important accreditation."
Another highlight for the Saarbrücken site was a successful industry exchange focused on battery technologies. In cooperation with saaris – Saarland Innovation and Location GmbH, the economic development agency supported by the State of Saarland and regional business and labor organizations, cetecom advanced hosted a TraWeBa (Technology Transfer Network for Battery Technologies) event, welcoming approximately 35 invited guests. Participants gained insight into the company's broad technical expertise, comprehensive service portfolio, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, all of which received high praise. Representatives from industry, government, academia, and research organizations took advantage of the event to exchange ideas on current developments and future challenges in battery technology. Daniela Schuh, Marketing Manager at cetecom advanced, summarized the event: "The personal conversations and engaging discussions once again demonstrated how essential collaboration and knowledge sharing are in this rapidly evolving field. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect."
Summer Celebrations
Several RWTÜV subsidiaries were fortunate to enjoy pleasant July weather as they celebrated summer with a variety of events, each reflecting its own unique team spirit and company culture.
Under the motto "Active Together, Celebrate Together," the team at apro.gmbh spent an energetic day filled with teamwork, outdoor activities, and great conversations. Colleagues took to the water in an inflatable raft, competed in a beach volleyball tournament, and enjoyed lunch at the Sömmerda Canoe Club. In the evening, Managing Director Tobias Apel personally took charge of the barbecue while everyone gathered to watch the FIFA World Cup match on a big screen, bringing a memorable day to a relaxed and enjoyable close.
RWTÜV subsidiary IB Nordhorn kicked off their summer festival with a celebratory note. Holger Mennigmann and Christian Feldhaus not only welcomed all attendees but also warmly congratulated four IB N employees on the successful completion of their apprenticeships or Bachelor's and Master's theses. Delicious food, a candy bar, and a cocktail bar provided the setting for a relaxed afternoon filled with fun and small guessing and skill games. To conclude, four lucky winners emerged from a raffle, and the day ended in good company with ample time for personal conversation.
Also at the summer festival of the cetecom advanced In Essen, team spirit and good conversations were the focus. The event kicked off with a late breakfast, during which guest of honor Thomas Biedermann took the opportunity to chat with the employees. The day's highlight was a two-round XXL bowling excursion in Duisburg. The day concluded with a diverse buffet; it offered space for personal encounters, exchange across team and location boundaries, and strengthened internal cohesion. Exactly as the RWTÜV Group envisions with move AS ONE.
MN Mörbitz Nordhorn Ingenieure organized a memorable outing centered around a boat trip to the legendary island of Vineta, which, according to mythology, marks the site of a sunken medieval trading city in the Baltic Sea. After enjoying the unique scenery from the water, participants returned ashore to choose from a wide range of activities, including archery, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and pedal boating. The day concluded with a delicious buffet at Restaurant VINETABLICK against the backdrop of a picturesque sunset, followed by a spectacular flyboard-pyrotechnics-show that will undoubtedly remain a highlight for everyone who attended.
Enoplan employees and their families celebrated a very diverse and colorful summer festival at the Bruchsal site. Whether it was the office scavenger hunt—for which each department had prepared a challenge—the hands-on stations ranging from building birdhouses to a magic booth, various outdoor games, or the building tours including a visit to the new webinar studio, interest and participation were immense everywhere, and fun was guaranteed. Thomas Biedermann, who represented the RWTÜV corporate headquarters, was particularly thrilled by the live performance of two songs created with the help of AI: “That was almost professional-level! There was a great atmosphere among the staff, and it’s clear that Enoplan not only serves its customers very successfully but also knows how to celebrate in style!” The rain that finally set in that evening couldn’t dampen the feeling of having enjoyed a wonderful day together.
