Dear readers,
Do you also feel the energy that is always present at the beginning of the year? Like the whole year is still an unwritten book lying before us, waiting for exciting entries?
The first month of 2025 is already almost over! Nevertheless, we would like to quickly wish you all a good and healthy start to the new year.
If RWTÜV is now writing the first chapter of the new book, the headline reads: „Commonalities in the Group.“ Pulling together, benefiting from synergies together, shaping success together. Because the strategy for the coming years up to 2030 is operating under the motto „move as one.“ „move“ encompasses all activities with which not only we in the RWTÜV Group advance, are innovative, and achieve success, but with which you in the companies bring about progress or grow in your professional development. With „as one,“ we express that there is quality, strength, and distinctiveness in our diversity, which develops convincing strength, especially in collaboration.
Let's tackle the coming year together, viewing it as an exciting challenge that will help us all grow.
Warm regards!
Your Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner
Role model

Under the catchy name CSK Alliance (Cyber Security Competence Alliance), RWTÜV group companies apro.gmbh, cetecom advanced, and cesitec GmbH have joined forces to tailor a completely new offering for a cyber security training package in cooperation with partner aqupe.
It is aimed at manufacturers of so-called ICT products – meaning products with integrated technology for collecting, storing, transmitting, or processing data and information, such as computers, smartphones, but also networks or machines and operational technology. They face a wide variety of standards and regulations with diverse implications. KRI-TIS (critical infrastructure) companies, in particular, have obligations, and especially the requirements regarding cybersecurity present major challenges for product developers and those responsible.
The CSK Alliance offers practical training courses individually tailored to the requirements of client companies based on these needs. Here, the appropriate knowledge is imparted, enabling companies to position themselves securely in the digital world. The content is aligned with the specific needs of the industry and target group and takes into account the interdependencies and requirements of legal cyber security frameworks.
By combining the special expertise of RWTÜV subsidiaries apro.gmbh, cetecom advanced, and cesitec GmbH, manufacturers of ICT products can simultaneously apply the implications of standards and regulations in a prototype model and develop a coherent cyber-security guide concept.
The new RWTÜV CSK Alliance training sets the most important standards for client companies, thereby creating the foundation for sustainable security in the digital age. Above all, however, it sets a precedent on the path RWTÜV has embarked upon, „move as one,“ achieving success through cooperation and synergy within the group.
Career boost

isn offers a wide range of part-time continuing education programs. From intensive training courses for innovation managers lasting a few weeks, in cooperation with the TÜV AUSTRIA Academy, to a four-semester part-time Master's program in Innovation Management at the University for Continuing Education Krems, also with a TÜV-certified degree, isn has a broad portfolio.
Fostering creativity and professionalizing innovation has been a core commitment of the RWTÜV Group, not just since last year. The investment in the Austrian company isn – innovation service network in 2024 was another step on the path they embarked upon at the beginning of the decade. It's therefore time to focus on the service offerings of this not-so-new group member, which naturally provides far more than just being a platform and backend supporter for the group's annual internal idea competition.
Through constantly up-to-date knowledge combined with many years of experience, the job profile of innovation management becomes learnable for participants. Graduates of the various programs hold top positions and actively shape the future of companies, from innovation strategy and idea development to the implementation of new solutions and digital business models.
Reinhard Willfort, Managing Director of isn – innovation service network, and his team are very happy to be available for information and inquiries.
Silver Status

EcoVadis is a platform that helps companies manage ESG risks and compliance. This aims to achieve sustainability goals and thereby create a positive impact.
At the end of last year, the Van Ameyde Group applied for a rating in Germany—and achieved Silver status in the EcoVadis rating right off the bat. This means that the RWTÜV subsidiary is among the 15 most sustainable companies that have undergone this rating.
The illuminated criteria are based on international CSR standards such as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact or the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO). A total of 21 aspects from the areas of environment, labor practices and human rights, fair business practices, sustainable procurement, and many others from the daily work at Van Ameyde were examined.
Thomas Biedermann congratulates the RWTÜV subsidiary from the Insurance Services business unit: „Not only Van Ameyde but the entire RWTÜV Group holds sustainability and corporate ethics dear. Both are essential components of our corporate culture and will continue to play a significant role in our development and success in the future.“
Top executives

In the third module of the RWTÜV Group's leadership training, the 16 participants at the „Land Gut Höhne“ conference hotel focused in mid-January on team building in the sense of „move as one,“ as well as stress and escalation management.
Leadership Coach and Mental Trainer Katrin Hormann, Management Coach Wibke Schindler, and Change Management Consultant Jörg Krause formed the team at the agency Klar & Quirlig, with whom the RWTÜV Group designed this leadership training series. They provided participants with discussion guides, practical behavioral tips, and clear case studies.
A professional appearance in difficult conversation situations, approaches to solutions for seemingly deadlocked situations, and the protection of one's own mental health in the face of challenges or difficulties were on the agenda. Background information regarding legal aspects was provided by the new lawyer on the RWTÜV team, Evelyn Beck, with extensive experience and a practical background.
The country estate also offered the perfect setting for relaxed exchange between the executives of the different RWTÜV subsidiaries after the official part ended. Managing directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner used the informal atmosphere to spread a motivating spirit for 2025.
