Dear Readers,
With their commitment, in-depth expertise, and individual skills, our employees work every day to ensure that the companies of the RWTÜV Group operate successfully in the market. Our task in group management is to optimally support and promote all of you, and to create the best possible conditions.
One measure in this regard is the strengthening and further development of competent management bodies. The changes in our Supervisory Board discussed in recent issues, as well as the appointments of Ingrid van Bommel for Van Ameyde and Holger Mennigmann for IB Nordhorn, fall into this category. We are also looking forward to Stefan Kischka, who will provide additional momentum at cetecom advanced starting June 1, 2026.
The students, who informed themselves about job profiles unknown to them at Enoplan and IB Nordhorn on the occasion of Girls‘ Day 2026, wanted to optimize their own prerequisites. We work together on exciting perspectives and projects for an optimized future in the board of trustees of the RWTÜV Foundation and with the sponsored students and scientists.
In this newsletter, we also report on our open Town Hall Meeting, which was attended by over 160 interested employees. Not only the format but also the depth of information were a premiere – and both were unanimously approved by vote at the end of the event.
Last but not least, we are delighted to present to you our business reports for the year 2025. A transparent and informative look behind the scenes!
Enjoy reading and best regards
Your Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner
Dream job

On April 23, 2026, the nationwide Girls‘ Day took place. RWTÜV's subsidiaries IB Nordhorn and Enoplan opened their doors to schoolgirls to give them insights into their working environments and to demonstrate how diverse and varied the fields of technology, energy, and environment can be.
At IB Nordhorn, colleagues presented their professions and tasks, explaining the fields of building technology and HVAC (heating, ventilation, sanitary). During a walk through an underground car park, the students could experience technical systems live. Afterwards, they became active themselves: they planned heating and ventilation systems and designed the electrical engineering for their own dream apartment.
Active participation was also a focus at Enoplan: participants were given insights into energy and environmental management. Using their new knowledge, they were then able to subject Enoplan to a critical practical check by examining environmentally relevant areas. They checked waste separation, compared the proportion of sealed surfaces to green spaces, read meters, and calculated the proportion of their own electricity production from the photovoltaic systems. The charging of e-cars at Enoplan and energy consumption in the office were also examined in a practical way and checked for savings potential. Together, ideas were developed for greater sustainability in everyday life and for CO₂ reduction.
At both locations, colleagues provided information about training and study opportunities. The students had the chance to ask questions, try new things, and discover their own interests. The junior engineers agreed: this overwhelmingly successful Girls’ Day showed that technology, energy, and sustainability offer exciting perspectives for everyone and definitely have dream job potential.
Motivation

From May 5th to 7th, the second in-person module of the Development Program took place at Leinsweiler Hof. 20 prospective and new managers intensely engaged with leadership topics, theoretical approaches, and current issues from the group's various companies.
Specifically, the „Leadership, Motivation, Delegation“ topic block dealt with working with different leadership styles and reflecting on and classifying one's own leadership behavior. How can I, as a leader, delegate successfully and also benefit from positive side effects? How do I provide appropriate feedback, and can I possibly accept critical feedback? Under the heading „Dynamics in Teams and Remote Leadership,“ Wibke Schindler from the management training and development coaching agency Klar & Quirlig explained how leaders can recognize and manage team dynamics early on, especially in „remote“ leadership, i.e., with staff who work at least partially from home. Practical application was achieved through joint case studies and the planning of the implementation of what was learned.
Everyone present particularly enjoyed the joint hike in the surrounding Palatinate region, which provided an opportunity for relaxed exchange away from the technical topics. Thomas Biedermann summarized: „I thank all participants for their great commitment, their openness in exchange, and the many creative solutions. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Wibke Schindler for the event, which she led again with great competence and informativeness.“
Industry expert

Following the appointment of Ingrid van Bommel to the Management Board at Van Ameyde and the addition of Holger Mennigmann to the management team at IB Nordhorn, cetecom advanced is also expanding its leadership. Starting June 1, 2026, Stefan Kischka will join as an additional Managing Director for the company, which has locations in Saarbrücken and Essen.
Industry expert Kischka will jointly lead the company with Andreas Ehre in the future. He is primarily expected to drive international growth and business development. Kischka has many years of experience in the TIC industry and has held various international leadership positions. The focus of his career to date has been on expanding international activities and developing new business areas.
Thomas Biedermann, Chairman of the Executive Board of RWTÜV e. V., commented on the personnel decision: „With this decision, we are strengthening the management structure. We are focusing on expansion and a sustainable improvement in economic performance.“ He is confident: „Stefan Kischka is a recognized industry expert who will provide important impetus for the further development of our company. We are convinced that this will further solidify our market position.“
Andreas Ehre, Managing Director of cetecom advanced GmbH, adds: „Stefan Kischka's expertise will enrich our ongoing strategic development process and thus generate additional growth. The focus will be on international markets and the promotion of new options worldwide.“
Future projects

The RWTÜV Foundation's Board of Trustees also met on May 21, 2026. On the agenda: the financial statements for 2025, as well as the review and future planning of current foundation projects.
Above all, the RWTÜV Foundation actively promotes exchange with students of technical disciplines through the so-called „Deutschlandstipendien“ (Germany Scholarships) launched two years ago. Another focus of the foundation's work lies in supporting forward-looking technology and energy projects that make the most sustainable contribution possible to Germany's social and economic development.
The Board of Trustees of the RWTÜV Foundation is composed of the members of the Presidium of the RWTÜV e. V. Board of Directors – Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn, Dr. Peter Sauermann (Chairman), and Dr. Hans Christian Atzpodien (Deputy Chairman) – as well as further members Prof. Dr. Barbara Albert, Prof. Dr. Katharina Kohls, and lawyer Ulrich Kanders.
The RWTÜV Foundation intends to focus more strongly on the teaching activities of Prof. Kohls (PhD), Professor of Systems Security at Ruhr University Bochum, who is an expert in IT security, given the increasing number of hybrid attacks, cybersecurity incidents, and growing digital challenges, and will actively seek out funding projects in this area. Dr. Fabian Fechner, deputy chairman of the RWTÜV Foundation's Executive Board, explains: “The RWTÜV Foundation continues to pursue the goal of providing impetus for education, technology, and innovation, and fostering exchange between research and business. Our committee is dedicated to this endeavor."
Transparency

In a town hall meeting open to all employees of the RWTÜV Group via Teams, Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner provided information on the companies' annual financial statements for the year 2025 on May 8, 2026. Sales, EBIT, and equity ratios for the business segments Insurance Services, Telecommunications, and Energy & Environment, as well as for individual companies, were disclosed transparently. The causes of performance weaknesses in the past year were analyzed comprehensibly, and appropriate measures for the current year 2026 were presented.
Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner focused their presentation on introducing an AI strategy for the entire RWTÜV Group; employees were also able to learn about the plan for its operationalization in detailed steps. Use cases from some subsidiaries provided proof that implementation is already yielding initial successes in some areas.
Subsequently, the programs for further education and training measures in 2026 were presented, from which colleagues from all subsidiaries and holdings can benefit. In joint workshops and training courses, not only individual professional and personal competencies are specifically promoted, but also the sense of community within the group is strengthened under the motto move AS ONE. In the final evaluation survey, the employees gave the organizers of the Town Hall Meeting a unanimous „thumbs up,“ providing motivation for the next event, which is scheduled to take place in six months.
