Dear readers,
Feeling positive and with many new ideas, we returned from a trip to the USA this month; our regular meeting with colleagues from CETECOM Inc. was one of the highlights this summer.
Equally inspiring is the determination of a young colleague whom we want to introduce to you this month: Anja Kampert from MN Ingenieure represents exactly the type of young professional every company dreams of. Passing on and awakening the spirit that Anja possesses, finding and nurturing talent, is also the goal of our new HR tool „Young Professional Summit,“ which is also covered in the following short articles.
Last but not least, we, or rather the Enoplan Group, have expanded a bit more. But read for yourself!
Sincerely,
Your
Thomas Biedermann and Fabian Fechner
Ready

Enthusiastic and inspired, RWTÜV Managing Director Thomas Biedermann returned in early August from a trip to the USA and CETECOM Inc. in Milpitas. „Our colleagues in the USA are approaching the future with great commitment and innovative ideas. The management team is optimally positioned and speaks with one voice – you only experience such positive vibes through personal exchange on-site; it simply cannot be replaced by any online meeting!“ Biedermann commented on the meeting. Together, the strategy for the coming years was discussed. The cetecom advanced companies are well-positioned worldwide, strong in their customer orientation, quality, know-how, and consulting expertise. International exchange among them is now to be further intensified, and additional, concerted marketing and sales activities are planned. New offers and an expanded range of services will be used to successively work towards conquering further market share. The integration of the PMT project management software and increasingly AI into the daily work and processes in the USA will also be a focus.
For example, one of these new offerings includes test and certification services from CETECOM Inc. for amateur radio and so-called „Part 15 devices“ that do not require a license. These are digital and electronic products with low prescribed electromagnetic interference, such as wristwatches, musical instruments, computers, telephones, and low-power transmitters.
The company NextNav, which offers positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) solutions, had proposed changes in the 902–928 MHz band. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the U.S. federal agency responsible for interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, cable, and satellite in the U.S. and its territories, responded last year with a so-called Standard Update regarding limits for intentional, unintentional, or incidental radiators without an individual license. The CETECOM Milpitas site can now offer the corresponding radio/EMC testing and assists with the implementation of the updated regulations.
Integrated

Exciting news from Enoplan: The company has acquired EnIA Energieberatung and integrated it into the Enoplan Group.
EnIA, with 18 years of experience in energy consulting, was founded in 2006, specializing in the technical support of large corporate clients, particularly in efficiency analyses and energy audits. As part of a succession plan and to ensure the continuation of services at the highest level, EnIA decided to integrate into the Enoplan group of companies.
The strategic decision also provides the Enoplan Group with further market shares and additional customers, who can subsequently benefit from Enoplan's more extensive offering. In addition to customized purchasing models, innovative measurement technology, and comprehensive energy efficiency services, this includes electromobility solutions and complete, sustainable energy concepts. With the Enoplan Group's portfolio, which is tailored to the requirements of the energy transition, it can best support its clients during times of change.

Versatile

RWTÜV subsidiary MN Ingenieure plans and implements innovative concepts and complete technical systems (heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, and electronic equipment) for buildings in collaboration with clients, architects, project managers, and construction companies. In the RWTÜV series about special people and their roles within the group, the focus is today on Anja Kampert, a trainee at MN Ingenieure since January 2023.
She began her academic career by studying systems engineering and technical cybernetics at OVGU Magdeburg, but switched to mechatronic systems engineering at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences after the second semester. Here, her passion for math, art, and hands-on work found the perfect synergy in working with fundamental mathematical models combined with the search for creative solutions. Anja also didn't have to commit prematurely with this choice as to whether she preferred mechanical engineering over electrical engineering – or vice versa. The Magdeburg native wrote her Bachelor's thesis at a VW supplier, gaining valuable insights into the automotive industry; she gathered her first professional experience at an engineering firm for medical technology in Leipzig.
But Anja wanted to go a step further, to combine her interests, to blend her analytical and creative skills. That's why she has now found her way into building services engineering. She has been working as a trainee at MN Ingenieure since January 2023 and will begin further training as a specialist for building automation in August. The 1.5-year course is offered by the Leipzig Chamber of Skilled Crafts and is supported by the Employment Agency.
With building automation, companies achieve increased operational efficiency and more sustainable resource utilization in their buildings. Its use can reduce operating costs, extend the lifespan of building technology, and create an optimal working environment. In the private sector, building automation provides greater convenience, security, and energy efficiency. Intelligent controls can optimize energy consumption and lower costs, while simultaneously increasing living comfort.
Once Anja has completed her further training, she will join the project teams at MN Ingenieure as a specialist in building automation. With her expertise in sensor-actuator technology, she will form the interface between information technology and technical building services. She is already a role model for young women in technical professions with her diverse interests and determination.
Ambitious

The RWTÜV HR Development Program is being expanded with a promising new module: the Young Professional Summit (YPS). Starting next year, selected employees of the group will have the opportunity for further development. Extensive experience will be offered, and exchange with colleagues from various divisions will be intensified. Talents and their development can be promoted through an inspiring environment, additional options, and the identification of individual strengths.
Fabian Fechner, Managing Director of the RWTÜV Group, welcomes the addition of the new tool to the HR calendar: „The YPS program is an important step in identifying talent early on and actively supporting the careers of our employees. Whether it's a specialist or management career, we want to discover and retain those with special skills by supporting them in making the best possible career choices. We look forward to shaping a successful future together with many innovative business ideas!“
