This leaves RWTÜV as the driving force

Dear readers,

Our world is constantly changing. We can accept it, react to it, adapt to it. Or we can decide to be the ones who shape these changes.

By understanding tomorrow's trends today, we can make reliable decisions within the company and develop methods and tools with which we are the driving force behind the successful development of our group's future.

In the current Group Management Meeting in mid-October, we set the course with our 2030 strategy. We are focusing on sharpening our profile, consolidating innovative processes, moving forward together, continuous transformation, and expanding our expertise. Naturally, you will receive further details in this newsletter in the coming weeks.

Our annual internal idea competition falls under the heading „innovative processes.” This year, the theme was Artificial Intelligence and how it can support us in our daily work. How can we digitally transform our services using AI? How can we make processes more efficient and effective? And last but not least, how can we find and retain talent through exciting AI projects to address the shortage of skilled workers? The submission phase ended on October 11th, and we are now in the exciting evaluation phase. We will keep you updated on this as well! In the current issue, however, we are providing an update on how positively one of the winning ideas from the previous competition has developed. Because we're sticking with it, we promise.

Sincerely

Your
Thomas Biedermann and Fabian Fechner

The managements of the RWTÜV Group met in mid-October in Bruchsal and Östringen-Tiefenbach at ENOPLAN GmbH. Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner hosted the annual Group Management Meeting to discuss the strategic direction of activities for the coming years with the subsidiaries under the title „Strategy 2030.“.

Based on a sharpened focus in brand strategy, especially for the umbrella brand RWTÜV, guardrails and room for maneuver for the future have been defined with the support of the Cologne-based consulting firm VALORESS. Another central point on the agenda was the steadfast integration of innovation management into the daily workflows of the subsidiaries and the holding company. Here, the innovation experts from isn – innovation service network from Austria provided valuable input. As a new member of the RWTÜV Group, they will have direct insights into the processes in the future.

To kick things off, all participants met the evening before for a tour of the wine cellar at the Heitlinger Hof winery, followed by an exclusive wine tasting that provided an appealing setting for initial discussions and personal exchange.

Solidify

The follow-up meeting in Cologne with the first group during the leadership workshops focused on how what was learned in past months had proven effective in daily work. In short presentations, all participants presented their reflections on their own development: „What benefits did the three modules of the leadership training provide in daily work? Has personal behavior changed? Where is further support needed?”

The final item on the agenda for this meeting was the distribution of participation certificates, which was fittingly celebrated at the Rohmühle restaurant in Bonn.

Together, strategic pillars for the future were set before individual travel home: With constructive self-management and focus in everyday life, nothing stands in the way of optimizing communication. The new Leadership Circle aims to foster more networking, and a focus on customer concerns is also sought for further growth. RWTÜV Managing Director Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner bid farewell to the group and wished them successful implementation in their daily work.

Track

The RWTÜV Group intends to pursue not only the ideas that were successful in the competition but also all feasible suggestions from the internal innovation competition. One of the ideas proposed last year has already seen promising development. Jannis Gasmi from Enoplan suggested analyzing data generated during load profile measurements at Enoplan to provide even better advice to customers. Load profile measurements analyze various aspects of electricity usage to gain insights into the energy consumption of individual customers or customer groups. The keyword here is „smart grid optimization.“ Gasmi is a project manager for supply concepts; the bioengineer and expert in bioreactors experiments with regenerative farming in his free time. His aversion to waste also includes data, which led him to the idea of analyzing and profitably utilizing the information already generated in the course of his work. Roll the film!
