Dear Readers,
„We Are 2026“ – this is the motto of the 2026 World Cup. The message behind it: People from different backgrounds become part of a common whole.
One might think that FIFA has not only plagiarized "we are RWTÜV" – the RWTÜV Group's claim for years – but also sought inspiration from our motto, "move AS ONE"! After all, under this motto, we have been working since the beginning of last year to strengthen our sense of unity within the group. Through various activities, we encourage employees to connect with each other, share experiences, and get to know each other better.
Even.
The better we get to know each other, the stronger our mutual understanding becomes. By recognizing what connects us and acknowledging the many skills available within the group, we can forge shared success. With great effort, we in the corporate headquarters have also been working on our new website, which we would like to present to you today. With this, too, we hope to contribute to transparency and depth of information.
We wish everyone continued fun at the Football World Cup and success in the associated internal betting pools, exciting discoveries at identify AS ONE, and above all, a lot of joy in getting to know RWTÜV even better.
In this sense: We are RWTÜV.
Enjoy your reading, your Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner
Online In-House Exhibition

As part of the „Online Trade Fair“ innovation project, RWTÜV created a platform based on a submission from the internal innovation competition for subsidiary companies and the corporate headquarters, where all employees could get to know each other better and exchange experiences. The goal is to promote cooperation within the group and strengthen the sense of unity across the group.
In virtual trade fair stands, each company presented itself in its own digital space. With diverse presentations, colleagues provided exciting insights into services, projects, and competencies and engaged in conversations with each other. New connections could be made across companies, and the foundation for potential collaborations could be laid.
With a total of 200 participants, the event demonstrated the potential of the large network. Innovation Manager Anika Corte assessed the exchange: „Only when we know and understand each other can we optimally bundle our strengths and act successfully together. The online in-house exhibition with the motto identify AS ONE was another important step on our journey to move AS ONE!“ RWTÜV Managing Director Thomas Biedermann agrees with her and adds a heartfelt thank you to all those involved who contributed to the success of this day: „We are already looking forward to the next exchange!“
Competitive advantage

On June 12, 2026, participants of the 2025 Innovation Manager course looked back together with RWTÜV, TÜV Thüringen, and isn – innovation service network during a digital course reunion. The focus was on the status of the top 3 projects currently in implementation.
In addition to innovation project number one, the RWTÜV Online Trade Fair, described in the previous post, the E2E invoice processing project at Enoplan, which is being developed with the support of Van Ameyde, was closely examined. Manual invoice processing offers potential for improvement in efficiency and quality and is to be optimized through AI-based automation.
The goal is a continuous, automated process for capturing and processing incoming invoices. The current focus is on AI-supported extraction and structuring of relevant invoice data in order to significantly reduce the previously largely manual processing. The project has been live since this week, and there is great anticipation as to how much potential for emulation it holds for other subsidiaries of the RWTÜV Group.
A project supported by apro.gmbh at cetecom advanced for the use of AI in measurement data analysis was also discussed with great interest. Battery tests, which currently take up to three weeks and whose results are only available at the end of this phase, are to be accelerated by AI and become analyzable during the testing process. Cetecom advanced wants to be able to identify deviations immediately during ongoing investigations. This allows for faster customer feedback and a competitive advantage through time savings. Initial data analyses for this product innovation have been completed and a research application is being submitted.
Thomas Biedermann, Managing Director of RWTÜV, and Volker Höhnisch, Chairman of the Board of TÜV Thüringen e. V., who were both present at the meeting, agreed: „We are certain that, in principle, everyone understood that innovation is a strategic priority. But managing the innovation process naturally competes with day-to-day operations. Resources and time must be actively allocated, which is why these projects need a clear „owner.“ Someone with the appropriate authority and a genuine personal interest must oversee implementation, which can only succeed with clear processes and commitment at all levels.“
Summer festivals

This year's CONSULECTRA Summer Festival, titled „Knowledge That Works!“, took place in Wilhelmshaven from June 17-19. cetecom advanced's Summer Festival on June 19 in Saarbrücken was entirely dedicated to team building and informal exchange.
The ATLANTIC Hotel Wilhelmshaven was the venue for a program of professional exchange on CONSULECTRA's areas of expertise, discussions, and new impulses. CONSULECTRA Managing Director Torsten Brinker invited guests to remain open to new perspectives and to value engaged interaction, as this allows knowledge to unfold and grow effectively.
A joint trip to Heligoland was a special highlight and provided a framework for lively networking. The joint summer party concluded at the restaurant Le Patron on Wilhelmshaven's South Beach, renowned for its creativity and ideas, with a view of the North Sea.
At cetecom advanced, Stefan Kischka—who has served as the company’s new managing director since June 1—attended a summer party for the first time and took the opportunity to get to know his colleagues personally, away from the daily work routine.
Despite the sweltering 37 degrees, a few intrepid souls ventured into the Saar Adventure and Climbing Park. The „Fly-Line,“ in particular, proved to be a real highlight, offering plenty of thrills!
The glorious summer weather, delicious „Saarland Burgers,“ a visually and tastefully stunning „Fruchtmann,“ and a wide selection of cool drinks ensured everyone was in good spirits. In the evening, thanks were given to all who contributed to the success of the summer festival and the thoroughly enjoyable day.
Association work

The TÜV Association (TÜV-Verband e.V.), known until 2021 as the VdTÜV, is the interest group of the Technical Inspection Associations in Germany and Europe, with its main office in Berlin.
Main topics of this year's general meeting, held as part of the Mobility Conference MobiCon I June 10, 2026 The conference, which took place in Berlin, focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable mobility, all viewed in the context of TÜV’s core mission over the past 160 years: monitoring safety and quality.
RWTÜV has decided to rejoin the association this year. In 2004, so-called „state-relieving activities“ were spun off to TÜV NORD AG, and for a time there was no need for membership. However, with the RWTÜV Group's growing focus on AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, connectivity, energy, and several other topics, Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner increasingly see overlaps and potential for the company to contribute as a technology group.
Dr. Fabian Fechner states: „We are convinced that the TÜV Association, together with its members, has an important role to play in our secure technological development and can provide companies at home and abroad with the necessary support. The RWTÜV Group wants to and can contribute to this.“ He adds: „Congratulations to TÜV NORD CEO Dr. Dirk Stenkamp on his election as Chairman of the Presidium!“
The premiere in the evening was the Oscar-inspired staged award ceremony for the „MobiCon Prize,“ which honors cities and municipalities for innovative, safe, and forward-thinking mobility concepts. RWTÜV congratulates Hattersheim, Mannheim, and Dortmund, who are setting a good example for safe mobility in harmony with all road users.
Relaunch

RWTÜV's website is presenting itself with a new look. A simplified menu and a more modern one-page structure are intended to provide a more intuitive information experience for interested website visitors. In organizing the content, we have oriented ourselves towards the needs of stakeholders such as potential partner companies, existing or potential future employees, and inspiring examples from our competitors. Here you can get a picture for yourself.
