Dear Readers,
we’re heading into the final stretch of the year with energy and new strength: First, we’re welcoming a new company to the cetecom advanced Group—BlueQ Services GmbH—whose expertise effectively complements that of our colleagues. And: We’ve expanded the team at Group headquarters with the addition of our experienced colleague Marvin Dittrich. You can find details on both new additions in the following articles.
In addition, October was once again all about effective communication: We attended a management and strategy meeting at Van Ameyde in Bloemendaal aan Zee, welcomed the managing directors of our companies to this year’s General Management Meeting in Essen, and hosted the CEOs of CETECOM’s Asian branches in Saarbrücken. Employees from all companies within the RWTÜV Group exchanged ideas on professional conduct and clear communication during the second module of the Learning & Development Campus.
Last but not least, we would like to take this opportunity to once again warmly invite you to participate in the current internal innovation competition under the motto “identify AS ONE. Stronger together.” Be sure to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to help shape our Group and our chances of success. Good ideas are not only rewarded—the best ones will be implemented with a substantial budget and our full commitment.
We look forward to your input,
Warm regards,
Yours and Yours Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner
Forward-Looking

At this year’s Group Management Meeting in Essen, the managing directors of the RWTÜV Group engaged in intensive and dedicated discussions on key future topics and the strategic direction for the coming years.
The focus was on the group's economic development, digitalization and AI initiatives, the further development of the brand identity, and the planning of promising cross-group initiatives for 2027. The workshop, led by Wibke Schindler (Klar & Quirlig agency) and Dr. Bianca Schmitz, a lecturer at the renowned business school, was also very interesting. ESMT Berlin. They covered the evolution of executive management training from four years ago at ESMT, through the current challenges that have arisen during that period, to the future direction of the program.
Special emphasis was also placed on cross-group HR topics in the area of Learning & Development as well as „move AS ONE“ as the central corporate motto. Always accompanied by the question of how the diversity of companies and employees can be further utilized to create added value in the interest of shared success.
„Leverage our diversity, move AS ONE. This will continue at our GMM on the occasion of the 155th anniversary next year in Cologne in the presence of other senior management levels,“ announced Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner. Both praised the open exchange between the companies. Sharing best practices and jointly developing new ideas underscored the enormous potential in collaboration within the RWTÜV group.

Experience

On the first weekend of October 2026, RWTÜV Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr Fabian Fechner attended a combined management and strategy meeting hosted by Group subsidiary Van Ameyde in Bloemendaal aan Zee (Netherlands).
Current market developments were high on the agenda of the international seminar, which brought together 40 participants from around the world. Together, they worked on a strategic direction for the coming years, designed to address current challenges and support the successful development of both individual business areas and Van Ameyde as a whole. Artificial intelligence and innovation will play a key role in this process.
In addition to expert discussions and presentations, the programme featured an exciting BMW Driving Experience. It also provided plenty of opportunities for networking and the all-important personal exchange. Face-to-face dialogue is the ideal way to align perspectives on shared future priorities, explore opportunities for further collaboration and bring the RWTÜV Group’s move AS ONE culture to life.
Exchange

In mid-October, managers from CETECOM’s international locations met in Saarbrücken for the Group Management Meeting to jointly plan the Group’s future development. cetecom advanced Managing Directors Andreas Ehre and Stefan Kischka welcomed Paul Suzuki, CEO of CETECOM Japan K.K., and Easson Park, CEO of CETECOM Limited Korea. RWTÜV Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr Fabian Fechner also attended. The newest member of the cetecom advanced Group, BlueQ Services GmbH, was represented by its Managing Directors Ilknur Celikkaya and Carsten Steinröder.
Discussions focused on business development and budget planning for 2027, current challenges and growth opportunities, as well as strategic priorities across cetecom advanced’s service areas: Certification, International Type Approval and SmartCard & Identification. Other key topics included actively driving end-to-end digitalisation, identifying potential applications for artificial intelligence and planning the future positioning of the CETECOM brand.
Beyond the business discussions, the meeting provided an opportunity to share experience across national borders, gain new perspectives and further strengthen international collaboration. Because here, too, we move AS ONE.
Development

The fundamentals of professional communication and confident conduct in the workplace were the focus of the second module of the Learning & Development Campus, offered to employees across the Group by RWTÜV Group headquarters, implemented by Wibke Schindler from Klar & Quirlig.
Professional collaboration increasingly relies on a variety of communication channels, personal conversations are frequently complemented by video calls, chats and comments in documents. It is therefore becoming ever more important to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally across all these forms of exchange to avoid misunderstandings, both in terms of content and interpersonal relationships.
The online module explored different communication styles, verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal communication, as well as professional digital communication. Other topics included first impressions and self-presentation, along with how employees present themselves and build networks in a business context. Wibke Schindler emphasises: “For me, good communication is all about listening, asking questions, and openly addressing different points of view—with respect and a genuine interest in the other person.”
The previous module focused on time and self-management to help employees take a proactive approach to organising their working day. Over the coming weeks and months, the programme will cover topics such as presentation skills and rhetoric, project management and change management. With the Learning & Development Campus, the RWTÜV Group offers all employees opportunities to continuously develop their skills and work more effectively, regardless of their role or position in the organisational hierarchy.
Clean

As part of this year’s World Cleanup Day, dedicated employees at Enoplan rolled up their sleeves to clean up the area surrounding the company’s headquarters in Bruchsal. Equipped with gloves, litter pickers and rubbish bags, colleagues removed discarded waste from paths, green spaces and natural areas.
The results surprised even the participants: a total of 102 kilograms of rubbish were collected, ranging from cigarette butts and packaging to some rather unusual finds. The clean-up highlighted just how much waste ends up anywhere but in the bin – and how much litter accumulates even in places that appear clean and well maintained at first glance. It was a clear reminder of the environmental impact of waste right on our own doorstep and of the importance of using resources responsibly and disposing of waste properly.
Beyond making the local surroundings cleaner, the World Cleanup Day brought another benefit to the Enoplan team: employees from different departments had the opportunity to talk, exchange ideas and experience first-hand how much collective commitment can achieve. Through initiatives like this, Enoplan’s internal sustainability initiative regularly encourages greater environmental awareness. A great example!
