RWTÜV Group: All-round advice for a digitalised future

CTC Advanced

Following in secunet’s footsteps, today the Group’s involvement with the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) continues through RWTÜV subsidiary CTC advanced. The Saarbrücken-based company assists in the production of electronic e.g. smartcard systems, provides support for processing biometric recognition data, helps to develop security concepts, and offers conformity, reliability and interoperability testing. Prominent customers include Visa and MasterCard as well as BSI.

CETECOM

RWTÜV subsidiary CETECOM specialises in service digitalisation, remote audits and virtual testing. In partnership with Google, for example, special glasses were developed to enable preliminary tests on the client’s premises without travelling. TOM is a recently launched test management database solution for the mobile communication industry that offers optimised test procedures, more efficient project management and faster product launches. Mobile device manufacturers, testing companies and suppliers benefit from this testing system in their daily testing tasks.

APRO GmbH, which has been part of the RWTÜV Group since April 2022, is also an established expert in IT security. For more than 10 years, the Erfurt team has advised businesses and public agencies throughout Germany and Europe on IT and information security, data privacy and confidentiality, as well as compliance with legislation such as GDPR and the German Information Security Act (BSIG), or conformity with standards including the BSI standard 200 x and ISO 27001. APRO plans, designs, constructs and configures highly available IT infrastructures with high-quality IT security architecture and individual information security concepts. It also offers consulting relating to the Information Security Act (BSIG) and KRITIS ordinance (KritisV).

CONSULECTRA, which we profiled in October, is one of the leading service providers in the implementation of network control technology and IT systems, planning and designing energy systems, IT security for KRITIS infrastructure, e-mobility, and generating plants and heating systems in the energy industry. CONSULECTRA recently acquired a 25% stake in critisLAB Schulung und Training GmbH. This company offers a unique network and system manager assessment centre, and provides consulting services in the areas of corporate protection and crisis management for operators of critical infrastructures such as gas and electricity network operators, transport companies, airports and power plant operators.
