"Diversität leben - eigentlich ist das für uns alle Alltag. Aber diese Diversität wollen und müssen wir auch im Arbeitsleben noch konsequenter abbilden. Davon profitieren wir, Diversität ist heute Grundvoraussetzung für Erfolg!" Das Statement kommt von Herzen. Sehen Sie selbst!

Dear Readers,
At Group headquarters, we are using the “summer break” this year to actively and intensively work on many exciting projects that we want to bring to a successful conclusion in these challenging times.
This is reflected in a wealth of topics in the July newsletter: a particularly successful internal innovation competition, summer parties and an anniversary, talent development – internally and via our RWTÜV Foundation – as well as an inspiring example of social commitment.
We want to shape the coming six months with excellence, energy and commitment. We want to take on all challenges and master them successfully.
The best is yet to come.
With this in mind, we wish you a relaxing vacation or a productive time!
Yours, Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner

Also in 2025 there was held an internal innovation competition within the ranks of RWTÜV. It was run under the current strategy motto move AS ONE.
The response was overwhelming. The jury was confronted with so many creative, well thought-out and inspiring entries that not just three, but eleven entries were awarded prizes. Seven alone shared first place: in different ways, the proposals strive for more networking and knowledge exchange, i.e. move AS ONE in its purest form.
The jury considers it a particular success that the submissions this year really did come from all over the world. In Japan, England, the Netherlands and Germany, the network is growing together and the best solutions for the customers of the RWTÜV Group are being worked on together.
Dr. Fabian Fechner and Thomas Biedermann emphasize: "We are delighted with this commitment from the global RWTÜV family. We would like to thank all employees, the organizing team as well as all idea providers who made this year's innovation competition such a success!"

Networking, learning from each other and shaping the future together. This was also the motto of the second round of the YPS – Young Professional Summit. Fifteen participants, sent by the RWTÜV subsidiaries cetecom advanced, Enoplan, Enometrik, Ingenieurbüro Nordhorn, Van Ameyde Deutschland and CONSULECTRA, came together.
The program included exciting content relating to strategy, innovation, change, communication and “Profile Dynamics”. In mixed, cross-company groups, the young professionals developed the idea for the pitch: based on three practical case studies, business proposals were prepared up to the final presentation. Of course, everything was based on the premise: move AS ONE.
The location for the second group was Cologne, which offered a varied backdrop for workshops and informal discussions. This mainly took place during a convivial evening by the fireplace and the finale in the legendary “Haxenhaus”, but also during the entertaining guided tour through Cologne's old town led by Thomas Biedermann.
Note: There are still places available for the next YPS. Please ask your managers about the application modalities!

The RWTÜV Group has started the “summer festival season”. Enoplan, CONSULECTRA and Ingenieurbüro Nordhorn kicked things off.
The Enoplan staff visited the KSC Wildpark stadium in Karlsruhe. The informal get-together, to which Group Management Board members Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner were also invited, was held under the motto “Sustainability”: first, the company's sustainability team, ‘Enogreen’, reported to colleagues on the status of their projects; they were then inspired by similar activities of Karlsruhe SC, which run under the name “KSC TUT GUT” (“KSC DOES WELL”).
There was also a guided tour of the entire Wildpark stadium, which is the center of a complex consisting of several sports and training fields, a tennis court and other sports facilities in Karlsruhe's Hardtwald. Finally, the afternoon ended with a stadium-style meal and relaxed conversation.
This year's CONSULECTRA summer party was held under the motto “Holistic projects”. Around 40 colleagues traveled to the external meeting and met on June 26, 2025 in the new offices at the Düsseldorf location.
After interesting presentations and a lively strategy discussion, the evening was spent dining and celebrating together at the SCHILLINGS restaurant in Düsseldorf`s theater “Schauspielhaus”. The following day, the CONSULECTRA team visited a construction project at the Rheinbahn electric buses depot in Düsseldorf-Heerdt to find out about the charging and network infrastructure installed there. The depot for buses was destroyed by a fire in 2021 and is now one of the most modern bus ports in the region with its own electricity production on around 5,000 square kilometers. CONSULECTRA's SUN division in Düsseldorf was responsible for planning the bus station's charging infrastructure. After lunch in Düsseldorf's old town, the colleagues returned home well informed.

At the summer party of Ingenieurbüro Nordhorn, a historic event was celebrated: Klaus Nordhorn, Managing Director of the RWTÜV subsidiary, celebrated 30 years of passion, leadership and success. Employees from all branches in Berlin, Münster, Munich and Hamburg as well as Group Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner came to the German capital to celebrate this special day together with the jubilarian.
During the day, a varied program including construction site visits was on the agenda: IB Nordhorn's lighthouse projects, such as the Komische Oper Berlin and Berlin Tegel Airport, provided a first-hand experience of current milestones in the company's work - innovative and competent planning in technical building services. For example, IB Nordhorn is involved in the refurbishment, modernization and extension of the Komische Oper, a unique cultural venue in the heart of Berlin. The historic structure, consisting of buildings dating from 1890 to 1980, is being carefully upgraded, while new extentions with office and rehearsal rooms are being constructed. The aim is to preserve the special ambience while integrating state-of-the-art technology. Ingenieurbüro Nordhorn is responsible for the complete technical planning: from heating, ventilation and cooling to electrical systems, sprinklers, conveyor systems and building automation.
The evening was quite emotional when the branch managers David Hagelschuer from Munich, Till Pauls from Berlin and Max Driessen from Hamburg found moving words full of recognition for the achievements of the company boss. They emphasized not only the special skills and expertise, but also how mutual appreciation and cooperation at eye level have shaped the company in the years past. Afterwards, all employees presented a lovingly designed book with pictures and texts, along with two “fine wines”, a thirty-year-old red and an equally old white wine.
The unique Berlin PlaceOne Panorama Bar not only offered a worthy backdrop, but also varied food from the grill and salad bar. There was a lot of lively conversation; music and dancing rounded off an all-round successful day full of emotions and wonderful memories.

RWTÜV colleague Anja-Kathrin Kampert is an expert in building automation at RWTÜV subsidiary MN Mörbitz|Nordhorn Ingenieure. However, the colleague is not only well-versed, she is also involved in voluntary work: she has been an active member of Engineers Without Borders since 2018, where she is responsible for fundraising and public relations for the Leipzig regional group.
To mark World Water Day on 22 March, Engineers Without Borders organizes the #Run4Water campaign every year. Members and supporters run, cycle, skate, walk or hike as many kilometers as possible in a given period (2025: 1 May to 31 May) to encourage donors, private or corporate, to support the campaign.
Anja-Kathrin Kampert explains: "Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit and independent development cooperation organization. Together with local partner organizations, we support people in the global South with technical cooperation. The focus of our work is on establishing a basic supply of water, electricity and sanitary facilities as well as building and expanding educational institutions. We are organized in 29 regional groups in Germany, which are always happy to welcome new members!"
Together with her regional group in Leipzig, Kampert collected 820.5 km this year. Reason enough for MN Ingenieure to make a donation of 1,000 euros to the #Run4Water campaign.

The ewa – eurobits women academy, funded by the RWTÜV Foundation, reports on the second group of women who have completed their one-year, part-time cybersecurity training course.
As part of this research project, women from a wide variety of job profiles and with different educational backgrounds tested a modular training concept on cybersecurity, IT and information security, which is explicitly tailored to the needs of female career changers with a mixture of self-learning content, online seminars, internship phases and face-to-face workshops.
On June 23, the participants took a theoretical exam; on July 5, they presented individual sample cases at the eurobits office in the Center for IT Security in Bochum to the expert jury headed by IT, cybersecurity and corporate security expert and German Digital Advisory Board member Nadine Nagel, Birgitte Baardseth (Director of istis - International School of IT Security AG) and Dr. Reiner Baumgart (former CEO of Secunet Security Networks AG, lecturer at the University of Siegen and co-founder of eleQtron). On September 3, 2025, the graduates will be bid farewell by Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy (MWIKE) of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the second major sponsor of the ewa program alongside RWTÜV.
