"Diversität leben - eigentlich ist das für uns alle Alltag. Aber diese Diversität wollen und müssen wir auch im Arbeitsleben noch konsequenter abbilden. Davon profitieren wir, Diversität ist heute Grundvoraussetzung für Erfolg!" Das Statement kommt von Herzen. Sehen Sie selbst!
Dear Readers,
With their dedication, in-depth knowledge, and specialized expertise, our employees work every day to ensure that the companies of the RWTÜV Group operate successfully in the market. Our role on the Group Executive Board is to provide you all with the best possible support and encouragement, and to create the optimal conditions for your success.
One such measure is the establishment of strong and effective leadership teams. The appointments of Van Bommel at Van Ameyde and Mennigmann at IB Nordhorn, which were covered in recent issues, fall into this category. As of June 1, 2026, we are also looking forward to welcoming Stefan Kischka, who will bring additional momentum to cetecom advanced.
The students who visited Enoplan and IB Nordhorn on Girls’ Day 2026 to learn about new job profiles wanted to improve their own prospects; on the Board of Trustees of the RWTÜV Foundation we work on exciting opportunities and projects for a better future with the students and researchers we support.
In this newsletter, we also report on our open town hall meeting – which was attended by over 160 eager participants and received positive feedback – as well as on another training initiative and new testing capabilities for complex audits at cetecom advanced.
Last but not least, we are pleased to finally present our annual reports for 2025 to you. A transparent and informative look behind the scenes!
Enjoy reading, and best regards
Thomas Biedermann und Dr. Fabian Fechner
On April 23, 2026, the nationwide Girls’ Day took place. RWTÜV subsidiaries IB Nordhorn and Enoplan opened their doors to female students to provide insights into their work environments and demonstrate just how diverse and varied the fields of technology, energy, and the environment can be.
At IB Nordhorn, the staff members introduced their professions and responsibilities, explaining the fields of building services engineering and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and plumbing). During a tour of an underground parking garage, the students were able to see technical systems in action. Afterwards, they got hands-on: they designed heating and ventilation systems and planned the electrical systems for their own dream apartment.
Active participation was also a key focus at Enoplan: participants were given insights into energy and environmental management. Armed with their new knowledge, they were then able to put Enoplan through a critical practical test by examining environmentally relevant areas. They checked waste separation, compared the proportion of paved areas to green spaces, read meters, and calculated the share of the company’s own electricity production generated by the PV systems.
The charging of electric vehicles at Enoplan and energy consumption in the office were also examined in a practical context and assessed for potential savings. Together, the team developed ideas for greater sustainability in everyday life and for reducing CO₂ emissions.
At both locations, our colleagues provided information about training and degree programs. The students had the opportunity to ask questions, try new things, and discover their own interests. The prospective female engineers all agreed: This thoroughly successful Girls’ Day demonstrated that technology, energy, and sustainability offer exciting opportunities for everyone and definitely have the potential to be a dream job.
The second module of the Development Program took place in-person at Leinsweiler Hof from May 5 to 7. Twenty aspiring and new managers engaged in an in-depth exploration of leadership topics, theoretical approaches, and current issues facing the various companies within the group.
Specifically, the session on “Leadership, Motivation, and Delegation” focused on working with different leadership styles, as well as reflecting on and evaluating one’s own leadership behavior. How can I delegate effectively and also benefit from positive side effects? How do I provide appropriate feedback, and am I able to accept constructive criticism? Under the heading “Team Dynamics and Remote Leadership,” Wibke Schindler from the Coaching Ageny Klar & Quirlig explained how leaders can identify and manage team dynamics early on, particularly when leading “from a distance” with staff who at least partially work from home. Through collaborative case studies, participants applied what they had learned to real-world situations and planned how to implement these insights.
Everyone present particularly enjoyed the group hike through the surrounding Palatinate region, which provided an opportunity for relaxed conversation away from the technical topics. Thomas Biedermann summed it up: “I would like to thank all the participants for their great dedication, their openness in our discussions, and the many creative solutions they proposed. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Wibke Schindler for once again leading such a competent and informative event.”
Following Ingrid van Bommel’s appointment to the Management Board at Van Ameyde and Holger Mennigmann’s addition to the executive team at IB Nordhorn, cetecom advanced is now also expanding its leadership team: Effective June 1, 2026, Stefan Kischka will join the company – which has offices in Saarbrücken and Essen – as an additional managing director.
Industry expert Kischka from now on will lead the company alongside Andreas Ehre. His primary focus will be on driving international growth and business development. Kischka has many years of experience in the TIC industry and has held various international leadership roles. His career to date has centered on expanding international operations and developing new business areas.
Thomas Biedermann, CEO of RWTÜV e.V., commented on the appointment: “This decision strengthens our management structure. We are committed to expansion and to sustainably improving our financial performance.” He added: “Stefan Kischka is a proven industry expert who will provide important impetus for the further development of our company. We are confident that this will further solidify our market position.”
Andreas Ehre, Managing Director of cetecom advanced GmbH, adds: “Stefan Kischka’s expertise will enrich our ongoing strategic development process and thus generate additional growth. The focus will be on international markets and the promotion of new opportunities worldwide.”
On May 21, 2026, the Board of Trustees of the RWTÜV Foundation also met. On the agenda: the 2025 financial statements, as well as a review and future planning for the foundation’s current projects.
Through the so-called “Deutschlandstipendien” (Germany Scholarships), which were offered two years ago, the RWTÜV Foundation actively promotes engagement with students in technical fields. Another focus of the Foundation’s work is supporting forward-looking technology and energy projects that make the most sustainable contribution possible to Germany’s social and economic development.
The Board of Trustees of the RWTÜV Foundation consists of the members of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of RWTÜV e. V. – Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn, Dr. Peter Sauermann (Chair) and Dr. Hans Christian Atzpodien (Vice Chair) – as well as the members Prof. Dr. Barbara Albert, Prof. Dr. Katharina Kohls, and attorney Ulrich Kanders.
In light of the increasing number of hybrid attacks, cybersecurity incidents, and growing digital challenges, the RWTÜV Foundation intends to place greater emphasis on the research focus of Prof. Kohls (PhD), a professor of system security at Ruhr University Bochum and an expert in IT security, and actively seek out funding projects in this area. Dr. Fabian Fechner, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the RWTÜV Foundation, explains: “The RWTÜV Foundation remains committed to driving progress in education, technology, and innovation, and to fostering collaboration between research institutions and businesses. Our board is fully dedicated to this mission.”
In a virtual town hall meeting open to all employees of the RWTÜV Group, Managing Directors Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner presented the companies’ 2025 financial results on May 8, 2026. Revenue, EBIT, and equity ratios for the Insurance Services, Telecommunications, and Energy & Environment business units, as well as for the individual companies, were disclosed in a transparent manner.
The causes of some poorer performance of last year were thoroughly analyzed, and corresponding measures for the current year 2026 were presented. A key focus of their lecture was the introduction of an AI strategy for the entire RWTÜV Group; employees were also given a detailed overview of the plan for its implementation in specific steps. Use cases from several subsidiaries demonstrated that the implementation is already yielding initial successes in some areas.
The training and professional development programs for 2026 were then presented, from which colleagues at all subsidiaries and affiliates can benefit. Through joint workshops and training courses, we not only specifically develop individual professional and personal skills, but also strengthen the group’s sense ofcommunity under the motto “move AS ONE.”
