"Diversität leben - eigentlich ist das für uns alle Alltag. Aber diese Diversität wollen und müssen wir auch im Arbeitsleben noch konsequenter abbilden. Davon profitieren wir, Diversität ist heute Grundvoraussetzung für Erfolg!" Das Statement kommt von Herzen. Sehen Sie selbst!
Dear Readers,
The call for lifelong learning is as true as it is well known. But it never hurts to repeat it every now and then! There is probably no immediate threat of “spiritual death,” as Confucius suggests, but shaping a successful future requires work. Work on oneself, one's own knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as work on the organization to which one belongs, even if one does not hold a position of responsibility.
In the ideas competition, we are refining our product portfolio. Read about it right at the beginning. cetecom advanced is committed to training experts. Our internal training program for innovation managers does not last a lifetime, but three months, as we presented in the last issue. You can read about the content of the first online session below.
Learning, knowledge sharing, and continuing education, especially in times of crisis, were also on the agenda at Van Ameyde's Management Leadership Event. Our review of this conference is also included in this newsletter.
The fact that AI can take over our thinking in some areas, but not our learning, could be the insight from the next Innovation Talk No. 14, which will focus on tools and trends for boundless creativity. You can still register; the link can be found below.
With best regards,
Yours, Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner
At the halfway point of the current ideas competition, the campus team invited participants to a feedback session at the beginning of October. Questions were answered, the focus was sharpened, and further inspiration was provided.
More than 110 participants exchanged views on the progress of the competition with those responsible and the group management during the team event.
RWTÜV CEO Thomas Biedermann comments: "Not only the well-thought-out and, in some cases, thoroughly developed ideas submitted so far, but also the lively participation in the mid-term event show how much the task and format have struck a chord. These are topics that are important and offer a lot of potential. The question is how we can expand or pool our expertise in order to play a role in terms of safety, sustainability, and infrastructure investments. We want to develop services within the RWTÜV group that we can then bring to market together, in line with the move AS ONE concept. Thank you very much for your commitment and keep up the good work!”
RWTÜV subsidiary cetecom advanced is launching a new service offering: a webinar series entitled “Fundamentals of Market Approval for Radio Equipment.”
In the last quarter of 2025, experts from cetecom advanced will offer a four-part training course covering practical, fundamental knowledge on the certification of radio equipment for global markets. The target audience includes engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, product managers, and startups. By the end of the sessions, the regulatory path to market will be clearly mapped out.
Participants in all four webinars can take a test at the end and earn a certificate demonstrating their fundamental knowledge of radio technology certification.
On September 1, 2025, 18 colleagues from the group, Enoplan, Enometrik, Van Ameyde Cologne, cetecom advanced, RWTÜV GmbH, and TÜV Thüringen began a three-month strategic innovation management training course. The lecturers also come from within the RWTÜV group: innovation expert Reinhard Willfort and his colleague Victoria Wallner. The course covers creativity methods for workshops and the management of innovation processes.
In October, the first online meeting kicked off with challenging questions about integrating AI into the innovation process. For example, how can well-designed prompts in customer surveys and their evaluation shorten the path to a more mature MVP, i.e., a first minimal version of a new product offering? What benefits does the development and visualization of an ideal customer persona provide? Which work steps can be optimized by AI in video shoots or photo shoots?
RWTÜV colleague Anika Corte is taking part in the internal training course. She reports: “There are so many possibilities that AI opens up for us, especially in the complex and multi-step innovation process! But we also discussed the data protection aspects that need to be taken into account from the outset, as well as the limitations of using AI tools.”
The Leadership Meeting in Sorrento, Italy, brought together 35 international executives from the property, marine, and motor claims sectors, as well as the supervisory board members of RWTÜV subsidiary Van Ameyde.
The two-day event provided an opportunity for intensive discussion and strategic planning. Thomas Biedermann and Dr. Fabian Fechner presented the Group's current strategy and other corporate topics to those present. Business games on strategy, planning, negotiation, and crisis management in challenging times provided the framework for a second, varied day in Sorrento. Dr. Fechner sums up: “We have brought home some great new ideas and contacts, and we feel that our collaboration is becoming more intensive and our network stronger!”
