Today is worldwide ThinkingDay! No, not "ponder", but rather "commemorate". It commemorates the worldwide community of the Boy Scouts and the birthday of its founder Robert Baden-Powell and his wife Olave.

We think the day is worth mentioning because, firstly, many groups use it to get involved in charitable causes and, secondly, many organisations also celebrate it as "FoundersDay".

You just can't think enough about founding and donating. :)

On Monday 7 February 2022, our anniversary suitcase arrived at CETECOM Limited in Korea. The colleagues were the first to enjoy the functional shirts printed with both the CETECOM and RWTÜV anniversary logos, made of 100% recycled microplastic, and the accompanying sports bags.

Valentine's Day - yes, but what and who do we actually love? The people of Cologne love their city. They certainly do. Even though a good year ago they uninstalled the 26-metre-long and up to 4-metre-high "Liebe deine Stadt" ("Love your city") lettering by artist Merlin Bauer on the Nord-Süd-Fahrt.

Can we even love a company? We the RWTÜV, you their companies? Our favourite animal, favourite food, car? Or does true love only work between people? Either way, in the end, it's nice every year to dedicate a special day to love.

RWTÜV subsidiary CONSULECTRA Unternehmensberatung GmbH offers concept development, system selection and implementation support for commercial and technical IT systems. As a newly appointed partner of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in terms of IT security for critical infrastructures (KRITIS), CONSULECTRA also supports companies that are affected by the IT Security Act 2.0. Among other things, they must demonstrate state-of-the-art IT security every two years, for example through certification according to ISO27001.

The RWTÜV building on Kronprinzenstraße in Essen now generates its own #electricity! ????On an area of about 300 square meters, 156 #photovoltaic modules generate electricity from #solar energy. More than 50,000 kilowatt hours are to be generated per year to supply the owners and tenants of the RWTÜV Group headquarters.
