Even though the RWTÜV Group as a whole is no longer focused on the classic TÜV business, some companies in the Group are still market leaders in the certification field! CTC advanced, based in Saarbrücken/Germany, tests and certifies electronic products with or without telecommunication interfaces according to the requirements of the respective national approval regulations – in Europe, on both American continents, in Africa and in the Asia-Pacific region.

Globalisation brought the need for international safety and quality standards. The testing, inspection and certification sector was in great demand – and so too were the TÜV associations. Their response was to offer testing according to so-called quality assurance (QA) standards – later adopted by the International Organization for Standardization and published as ISO standards – along with independent certification bodies. For RWTÜV, this was a springboard to success.

From the very beginning, the inspection association engineers carried out their own research to supplement the knowledge gained from testing activities and lessons learned from explosions. Their findings translated into design specifications and standards intended to prevent accidents and contribute to the best possible protection and welfare of the general public.

At the end of last week we received the anniversary case back from Korea. We are thrilled by the warm greetings, the creative "handicraft work“ ? with our portraits and the funny little Korean figurines!

This is exactly how we had imagined the exchange within the branches of the company and it’s subsidiaries to get to know each other better.

As a "Member of the Diversity Charter", today's Zero Discrimination Day is naturally particularly close to RWTÜV's heart. The day of action launched by the UN aims to draw attention worldwide to injustice and oppression for a wide variety of reasons.

At the RWTÜV Group, we are turning our backs on our own front door. Among other things, there are project groups made up of employees at all levels who review structures, processes and practices in everyday work.

Today is worldwide ThinkingDay! No, not "ponder", but rather "commemorate". It commemorates the worldwide community of the Boy Scouts and the birthday of its founder Robert Baden-Powell and his wife Olave.

We think the day is worth mentioning because, firstly, many groups use it to get involved in charitable causes and, secondly, many organisations also celebrate it as "FoundersDay".

You just can't think enough about founding and donating. :)

On Monday 7 February 2022, our anniversary suitcase arrived at CETECOM Limited in Korea. The colleagues were the first to enjoy the functional shirts printed with both the CETECOM and RWTÜV anniversary logos, made of 100% recycled microplastic, and the accompanying sports bags.
