Holger Mennigmann is to become managing director at IB Nordhorn

As part of a planned succession plan, Holger Mennigmann will join the management board of IB Nordhorn GmbH & Co. KG Münster with effect from 1 April 2026.

Klaus Nordhorn, who has built up IB Nordhorn since its foundation in 1995 and developed it into one of Germany’s leading building services engineering firms, will continue to lead the company alongside Holger Mennigmann until his retirement in 2027. This dual leadership ensures continuity in day-to-day operations and creates the ideal conditions for a seamless handover of responsibility.

With his extensive technical expertise in the fields of energy, refrigeration, ventilation and heating, as well as his proven experience in establishing and scaling up planning and service businesses, Holger Mennigmann brings the ideal qualifications for the further development of IB Nordhorn. Furthermore, his extensive network in the energy and property sectors opens up new strategic growth prospects for the company.
Together with the branch managers in Berlin and Hamburg and the head office in Münster, Holger Mennigmann will continue to drive forward the successful growth of IB Nordhorn within the RWTÜV Group, of which IB Nordhorn has been a part since 2015. The aim is to expand the company’s market position as a quality-oriented building services engineering consultancy and to make targeted use of the synergy potential within the group.

“We are delighted to have secured Holger Mennigmann, an experienced and competent managing director for IB Nordhorn, to ensure we are best positioned to capitalise on growth opportunities in the field of building services engineering in the coming years,” said Dr Fabian Fechner, Managing Director of RWTÜV GmbH, commenting on the appointment.
