A firm eye on the future of energy

Today, RWTÜV is represented by subsidiaries on almost all continents. CONSULECTRA has been a member of the Group since 2005, and is very much in the tradition of planning international power infrastructure construction – from feasibility studies and grid simulation to construction supervision for new buildings or refurbishments. Utilities in the energy industry in particular, as well as state institutions, often call on the expertise of the consulting and planning company.

RWTÜV expertise appreciated internationally

Various factors prompted RWTÜV’s reorientation towards foreign markets, in different areas of operations. With new service offerings and increasing competition at home, at first German industry needed support as it planned to expand internationally in the course of globalisation in the 1970s and ’80s. Certification of products for export to other European countries played a major role here. Later on, services for the respective local markets were added, although in some cases it was years before the necessary accreditations were granted to foreign testing organisations like TÜV.

World ISO Standards Day

Founded in 1946, in the immediate post-war period to rebuild the world, the ISO - International Organization for Standardization, together with its sisters IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union), develops international standards in all areas.

As a member of countless standardisation bodies, the World Day of ISO Standards is naturally also a special date for the RWTÜV Group.

Standardised products mean greater safety for consumers - and thus greater satisfaction. For you too!

Summer party in Leipzig!

The summer party of the youngest member of the Group, MN Mörbitz Nordhorn Ingenieure GmbH, also took place in September.

We welcomed our colleagues to the group family with our anniversary shirts with individualised backs.

We hope for good cooperation, many starting points for synergies and a successful joint future! ??

Recognising synergies, exploiting opportunities

The history of the German TÜV associations has always been closely linked to the automotive and transport industries and all related services. In the 1970s, with growing competition in the increasingly liberalised vehicle inspection market in the nascent EU, TÜV’s successor RWTÜV sought a way to strengthen and expand its own position. Van Ameyde – the cross-border claims adjuster well known in Europe for the “green card” insurance certificate – was a brilliant fit in the portfolio.
